Russian-Azerbaijani Defense Cooperation in Numbers

The Republic of Armenia is said to be the strategic partner and strategic ally of Russia. Nevertheless, since 1994 Russia has sold to Azerbaijan different weapons, including:

• 156 tanks,
• 456 artillery systems,
• 1200 air missiles,
• 1100 anti-tank missiles,
• 90 military helicopters,
• 2 S300 “Favorit” air defense systems,

The Union of Aware Citizens informed.
Meanwhile, the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Sweden, Poland, Japan and some other countries do not sell weapons to Azerbaijan. Meanwhile, Russia offers such prices that we have to buy helicopters from Slovakia, and artillery systems from China.
